With profound sorrow and deep respect, we commemorate the life of Darrell Jerry Wayne Griffin. Forever cherished and always remembered by his family and friends.
Darrell Jerry Wayne Griffin departed this life on June 24, 2024, at the age of 30. A distinguished civil servant, Darrell was unwavering in his mission to enhance the lives of others and ensure safer communities for all. His legacy as one of our finest public servants will remain a source of inspiration. His memories will forever be cherished by his loving mother, Monica Wicker Griffin; father, Darrell Wayne Griffin; two sisters, Daranae Griffin, Daranecia (Jeremy) Williams; grandmother, Mary Brown; two nieces, Jordyn and Harper Williams all of Greensburg, La. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Lane, Greensburg, La 70441 at 9 am to 12 noon. Visitation will resume at Greater Turner Chapel AME Church, 875 Turner Chapel Rd. Greensburg, La 70441 at 1 pm to 1:30 pm. Religious service will follow at 2 pm. Rev. Moses Simms will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Greater Turner Chapel Cemetery.
