Darrell Patrick "Doc" Holliday

Darrell "Doc" Patrick Holliday, of Wixom, MI, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was 69 years old.
Doc was born in Detroit, MI on April 19, 1955 to proud parents, Wilbert & Helen Holliday. He was a graduate of Cody High School's class of 1973 before advancing his love for cooking at Schoolcraft Culinary Arts. He then dedicated 30 years of his life to Ford Motor Company, where his work ethic and his relationships with colleagues defined his character. Beyond the assembly line, Doc found immense joy dedicating his time volunteering at the Michigan Humane Society, the Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, and the Children's Hospital in Detroit, MI, earning admiration for his commitment to helping others.
An avid cook, Doc was known for his culinary creativity, often the first to contribute potluck dishes that delighted family and friends. He found solace on the water, where he loved to unwind, and he cherished every moment spent at the local dog park with his beloved companion, Lady. His passion for life extended to card games with friends, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Doc's spirit of generosity, his love for animals, and his joyful approach to life left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his warm heart and the countless lives he touched.
Doc is survived by his loving wife, Kelli Holliday; his daughter, Hollie (Trey) Bradshaw, and his son, John (Marissa) Siekierka; his grandchildren, Evelyn and Jackson; his twin brother, Dennis (Jennifer) Holliday; his sister, Julie (Bob) Branson; his brother-in-law, Mark (Terri) McCabe, and sisters-in-law, Teresa (Steve) Finney, and Denise (Darryn) LaZar; his canine companion, Lady as well as many nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family members.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Helen (nee. Stein) Holliday.
