Darrell Lovejoy Obituary
He was born July 14, 1950, in Accoville, WV, the son of the late Junior and Texas (Nelson) Lovejoy.
In addition to his parents, Darell was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Roger Cain.
Darrell enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Darrell Junior (Cathy) Lovejoy; six sisters, Betty Cain, Bonnie Woodrum, Linda (Denzil) Pauley, Judy (Beecher) Adkins, Janet (Norman) Lovejoy, and Rozanna (Michael) Sniff; two brothers, Jerry Lovejoy and Howard Lovejoy; two grandchildren, Jesse Lovejoy and Brayden Lovejoy; He was also loved by his work family at Adams Trucking in Barboursville, WV.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will be at the Bear Branch Cemetery, Mud River, WV.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
