Darrell Paul Martin, a dedicated truck driver and cherished member of his community, passed suddenly and peacefully at home on May 2, 2025. Born on November 20, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Darrell’s warm spirit and kindhearted nature touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A proud veteran of the Army, Darrell exemplified loyalty and support throughout his life, values that defined his relationships with family and friends alike. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Pamela Martin, who preceded him in death, and a devoted father to his children: Fayth Martin, Michael Martin, Jacob Martin, Dezerae Brewer, Christina Mitchum, and Tanya Cook. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who include Alex Brewer, Cameron Brewer, Aspen Mitchum, Austin Mitchum, Aiden Pratt, and Oak Cook. Darrell is also survived by his brothers, Patrik Martin and Darren Martin.
Known for his unwavering support and friendly demeanor, he was always someone you could count on. Darrell enjoyed spending quality time with family, watching movies, and embracing the great outdoors. He had a special place in his heart for animals and frequently lent a helping hand to those in need. His passion for starting new projects was matched only by his love for his family, who were always his utmost priority.
He will be remembered for his kindness, love, and the strong bonds he created throughout his lifetime. A memorial service will be held in his honor at Enid Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 6405 Memorial Drive, Enid, Oklahoma, on May 10, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will provide a space for family and friends to celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on their hearts.
