Darrell Morris Obituary

He was a beloved son, brother, husband and father. Darrell Morris was born in Bond, Kentucky July 13, 1940. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sonja; parents, Floyd and Opal; sisters, Marilyn, Virginia; and brother Paul. Darrell passed away in Kennewick, Washington at The Chaplaincy Hospice House. The dates of his birth and death are not so important here as it is the life he lived. He was a Veteran of the Untied States Air Force, where he met the love of his life. It was important to him to show as much love as possible to his family and to his friends he cared so much about. He always went the extra mile. Darrell is survived by daughters, Shelly Skudlarek, Lona Rutz (Mike) of Gold Bar Wa, Lori Morris of Kennewick and son Jason Morris of Kennewick Wa. He also leaves behind four loving grandchildren. There will be a family and friends memorial to be announced at a later date. Please come celebrate the life of Darrell Morris with those of us lucky enough to love and be loved by this man.

Boy DM, we really could use your sense of humor about now! This year has been weird pretty much from the get go! So much weird & scary, horrible stuff going on & it's not over yet. Wish I could tell you we're spending Christmas together this year but unfortunately it's been a long time since we've spent a holiday together. Certainly miss all the wonderful holidays spent on the farm. I chose those years cuz everyone was still pretty healthy & we all lived near each other. Miss those days & I miss you, Sonja & Toby so very much. Hope your Christmas in heaven will be like those spent on the farm!!!! Hugs to you all!
