Darrell Sparks, 76, beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He was called to his eternal resting place on July 24, 2024. He entered this world on February 10, 1948, in Arkansas City, KS, born to Joseph Madison Sparks and Edna Abernathy Sparks.
A celebration of Life Service will be held Aug. 2 @11am in the Rise Up church with Pastor Clayton Pappan officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Miller Stahl Funeral Services of Newkirk, OK.
Darrell met the love of his life, Cinda Jo Rogers and they were married March 16, 1975, in Rural Newkirk, by the river and they made their home in Newkirk and later moved to Ardmore, OK. Darrell enjoyed racing his street stock race car at the Enid Speedway, Taking Cinda to the Casino, watching College Sports, and working on the farm growing Wheat and Soybeans.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters; Dena Jo May of Ponca City, OK, Dana Aldrich of Arkansas City, KS, son; Darin Sparks and wife Melissa of Newkirk, OK; grandchildren; Colton Sparks of Ponca City, OK, Dalton Yeats of Madill, OK and Ty Yeats of Ponca City, OK. Johnathan Hoff, and Carly Hoff of Ark City, KS, great grandchildren Aubrey, Peyton, Mason, Hadley, Keadon, Blair, Kendall and Nash. one sister, Patty Sivits of Lawrence, KS. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Cinda Sparks on April 29, 2024.
