Darrell D. Suitter passed away peacefully at his home on April 24, 2025 at the age of 77. He was born October 15th, in Houlton, Maine, the 14th child to the late Bert and Hazel (Ellis) Suitter.
He went to Houlton High School. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army, Vietnam War, 25th Infantry Division. He is a member of the VFW and American Legion. He worked at Edison Brothers in Wilmington MA and then worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in Salem NH.
His greatest gifts in life was his daughter Tiffany and granddaughter Harper Grace. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. He was a proud father and grandfather and loved being called “Papa Darrell”.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Arguin Suitter of 42 yrs. His daughter Tiffany Suitter Sorrentino, husband Phillip, and granddaughter Harper Grace of Vermont. His siblings, Bert Suitter (Diane), Connie Barriner, Ervin Suitter (Debi), and Larry Suitter (Judy) all of Houlton Maine. Many in laws, nieces and nephews!
He was predeceased by his parents Bert and Hazel Suitter, and siblings Maxine, Donna, Eddie, Kenneth, Robert, Ronnie, Marvin, Glenn, Joan, Raymond, Althea, Jeanette, and Norma. Also holding a special place in his heart was his granddog Kinley.
At Darrell’s request, there will be no services. Those who wish may make donations in Darrell's memory to White Mountain VFW Post 2520, 1107 Main St., Berlin, NH 03570. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory of Berlin & Gorham, NH. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net
