He was born on May 29,1978 in West Memphis, Arkansas to the late James and Geraldine (Cole) Williams.
Darrell graduated from Tinley Park High School and had previously worked for Subaru. He was a huge fan of Ohio State and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Darrell was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.
Surviving are his life partner, Alicia Hickman; his children, Damien Lauder, Braelyn Williams, and Camryn Williams; his siblings, LaTasha Williams, Samuel Cole, Vespucci Cole, James Williams III, James Williams IV, Teresa Williams, and Brianna Williams, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrin Williams and James Williams, Jr.
A Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Asa Slaughter IV officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel and on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Meadow View Cemetery, Lafayette.
Memorial donations may be made to his children in loving memory of Darrell. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
