CENTERVILLE — Darrell E. Wright, 83, Centerville, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024. Visitation, Tuesday, Dec. 17, 11 a.m.-noon, with service starting at noon at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg.

Darrell was 8 years older than me, but I remember when he was a teenager and looked a lot like Fabian. His sister, Mary Jo, and I enjoyed our times together at Grandma and Grandpa Burris´s farm. I also remember Darrell riding with a group of guys riding from Lewisburg to Dayton to go to work at NCR. He and his Mom, Aunt Marcella, were big Cincinnati Reds fans.
