Darren Michael Davis, 60, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. Born in Fairfax, Virginia, on November 20, 1964, Darren was the beloved son of the late Percy Davis and Donna L. Tompkins.
Darren was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Davis Swayne. He is survived by his loving sister, Tori Davis of Lynchburg, Virginia; his cherished nephews, Mark Davis and Tye Swayne, both of Lynchburg; and his devoted aunts: Rose “Elve” Davis of Loudoun, Virginia, Almarie Lucas of Madison Heights, Virginia, and Linda “Diane” Tompkins of Lynchburg, Virginia.
Darren was a man who truly never met a stranger. He was the life of every party- known for his unforgettable laughter, vibrant personality, and the joy he brought to every space that he entered. He embraced life fully, with a deep love for traveling, new experiences, and discovering great food as a true foodie at heart.
Those who knew Darren will remember his warm spirit, his generosity, and the way he made everyone feel like family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Virginia. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
A burial service is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park in Annandale, Virginia. A repass will follow in Fairfax, with details to be announced.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and kindness shown to Darren through the years.
