Darren Mathew Hobbs

Darren Mathew Hobbs passed away at his residence with his wife by his side after a short illness. Darren enjoyed traveling the world and caring for his dogs and the many animals he acquired on his property. Darren served in the Army where he was deployed in Iraq and a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Darren later went on to serve in the Contra Costa County Sheriff Department where he retired as a Lieutenant. Darren was survived by his loving wife Michele Hobbs, son Anthony Hobbs (Rachel), grandsons Eli and Noah, step son Casey Eichenberger, mother, Patsy Hobbs, siblings Christi Hammerbeck (Gilbert), Michele Speer (Steven) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his son Kurtis Hobbs, father Ronnie Hobbs and grandparents Clay and Dovie Hobbs and Herbert and Marline Ponder. There will be a celebration of life at Willow Springs Club House on 2/2/25 at 1:00 pm.
