Darrien A. Jackson, age 59 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Darrien is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Willie Jackson, and his sister, Diane Samuels and niece, Tabitha Samuels. He leaves behind a family who will forever treasure the memories of his love, faith, and the music that filled their hearts.
Darrien leaves behind his beloved wife, Alice (Gibson) Jackson; three sons, Stanley Gibson, Eric (Tina) Gibson, and Anthony Works; one daughter, Kristina (Damon Sr.) Martin; and thirteen grandchildren: Damien, Kamilya, Isiah, Aamiyah, Jamarcus, Aaliyah, Jeremiah, Carter, Avaiyah, Dy’mon, Damon Jr., Kingston, and Star, all from Nashville, TN. He is also survived by four brothers: Larry (Linda) Jackson of Cincinnati, OH; Virgil Calhoun of Cincinnati, OH; Donald (Mary) Spencer of Cincinnati, OH; and Michael (Lorie) Jackson of Newport News, VA. Jeffrey Hawkins-Jackson from Guam, He also leaves behind his nephew, Eric Jackson, of Cincinnati, OH, and a host of extended family and friends.
