It is with deep sorrow and much love, that today we mourn the passing of Darian Anthony Martinez whose soul passed over to God on November 16, 2024. He was born on August 03, 2000 making him 24 years during transformation. He will lovingly be remembered by his mother Sylvia Martinez, his father Robert Martinez, his two Brothers, Duane & Ibn Martinez, his sister, Precious Martinez, his uncle/godfather Anthony Nieves, aunt/godmother Migdalia Nieves, his niece Lilyanna Martinez, his dearest cousins, his great cousins and anyone else who came in contact with him. Anthony was an inspiration to all who knew him, and loved by many for he had a genuine and loving spirit. The impact of Anthony’s life will be felt for years to come. He graduated the year of 2018 with a trade degree in carpentry. He loved football, his favorite team was the Falcons. As a kid he enjoyed church, football, spending quality time with his mom and siblings, and taking truck rides with his uncle. He loved having a good time, listening to music, dancing and being around good energy. He loved eating his mother's home cooked meals the most and being around family to celebrate any special event or holiday. He had cousins who were like siblings to him; Andre Diaz, Mileen Salters, Tierra Nieves, Antoinette Nieves and many more. He loved his only niece dearly and treated his great cousins as if they were his nieces and nephews as well. He had a special bond with the kids. He was Anthony to us but “Papi, and DA” to them. He always made a fashion statement, stayed smiling, dancing and taking pictures. He was raised in church and forever had faith in the Lord. He lived a life full of the fruits of the spirit, Love, Joy, Kindness, Selflessness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and now we know he found Peace. Forever in our hearts, and Forever on our mind. Until we meet again, we love you and may your soul rest in heaven peacefully. He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Frances Martinez.
