He was born on August 29, 1946, in Bozeman, Montana, to his late parents Mina Nottingham and Kenneth Anderson.
Darryl's life was marked by a profound commitment to his country and a profound love for his family. He married Judith Ann Szilagyi on October 14, 1989, and their union was a testament to love, partnership, and unwavering support.
His journey began with service in the Marine Corps, where he displayed exemplary bravery and dedication, earning the rank of sergeant.
Darryl's valor and sacrifice were evident as he served in Vietnam, where he was honored with the Purple Heart for his courageous actions.
A passionate individual, Darryl found joy and solace in various activities. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, finding thrill and excitement in every race. The thrill of skiing down snowy slopes, the quiet contemplation of hunting, and the tranquility of fishing were all activities that brought him immense happiness.
