Darryl Wayne Boyer entered into eternal rest at Passages Hospice on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Darryl was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and was a former employee with Alfortish and Intercostal Pipeline. Beloved son of the late Leonard Boyer, Sr. and Dorothy Davis Green. Grandson of the late Robert Davis, Sr. and Sylvia James Davis. Brother of the late Leonard, Ronald, and Bryan (Toni) Boyer, Charles Roy Green of Gretna, LA, and Kathleen B. Price. Uncle of the late Leonard Christopher Boyer. Nephew of the late Clara Berry of Detroit, MI, Fannie Matthews of New York, Mercedes Bibbs of San Antonio, TX, Vivian Coleman of San Antonio, TX, and Robert Davis, Jr. of Manhattan, N.Y., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman Officiating.
