Darryl Jay "Fuzz" Brumbaugh

Darryl J "Fuzz" Brumbaugh, age 62, passed away January 6, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ethel; and his first wife June.
He is survived by his wife Vickie; his brother Jerry; stepsons Scott and Lonnie; his aunts Edith Brumbaugh, Dot Sutera, Ola Lewis and Gloria Stafford; his uncle Bert Phelps; and cousins Joice and Charles.
Fuzz was born and raised in Gulfport and attended Gulfport Schools. He was active in Boy Scouts as a child and loved to race his car at the Gulfport Dragway when he was younger.
Fuzz was an avid pool player and was in several leagues. He shot for the Alibi Lounge and Buddy's Bar for several years. Fuzz was a NASCAR fan and he liked to tinker with lawnmowers and his prized Camaro. He had a large collection of hats, ball caps, fedoras and skid lids. He worked in the asphalt industry most of his life, working for Necaise Construction, Warren Paving and Geo Pavers over the years.
Fuzz was a simple man wanting little for himself but always generous to his family and friends. He did all he could for the people he loved.
Fuzz could be found at any bar on the coast that was hosting a karaoke night. There you would find him wearing one of his favorite hats and singing one of his favorite songs alongside his soul mate, Vickie.
A memorial will take place on January 15, 2022 from 4-7pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport.
Fuzz always lived life his way so at his request, a party complete with karaoke will be held at a later date.
