Darryl Dewayne Davis transitioned from this earth on September 28, 2025. After a three-year battle, Darryl would say, "don't worry about me I am at peace. I have fought this battle with dignity and grace." He was 52 years old.

Darryl was born on July 22, 1973, in Memphis, Tennessee to Ruth L. Davis and David Irving. Darryl grew up going to school in Memphis from grade school to high school and graduated from Hamilton High School in May 1992. Shortly after, Darryl moved to Chicago, Illinois and began his employment for Leavitt Tube Manufacturing Company, now Maruichi Leavitt Pipe and Tube Manufacturing Company as a Forklift Operator and a Union Steward until June 2008. He then moved to Lima, Ohio where he was employed by Nickles Bakery Incorporated and he also worked for Nelson Packing Company Incorporated in Lima Ohio until August 2022.

Darryl committed his life to Christ on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Nashville Tennessee. He was immediately received with open arms and a message reading, "We are so glad you have decided to connect with our ministry. Welcome to the Family!" Darryl was faithful in attending every Sunday, where you would find him sitting in the back of the church where he formed a community of members who sat in the same location each Sunday.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth Triplett and David Irving. He will always be remembered and cherished by his siblings, James Davis (Patricia), Deloria Moore (Michael), (Surrogate brother) Antonio (Dobie) Webster (Yolonda), five nieces and nephews: Kayla Ross, Myles Davis, Cameron Davis, Zoey Moore, Trinity Moore, Aunts Bettye Eskridge and Ida Pearl and a host of loving cousins and friends.
