Darryl Dobbs, 58, passed away on Monday October 30, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Theresa Dobbs, his daughters Connie Dobbs, Courtney (Tom) Buffington, and Brittany Goff, his mother Lila Dye, and his sister Rachel (Charlie) Gant. Darryl also leaves behind his 6 grandchildren Mckynze Dobbs, Jaxon Coffman, Reagan Buffington, Georgia Buffington, Jacen Coffman, and Kingston Goff.
Darryl is preceded in death by his brother David Dobbs and his sister Inna Dobbs.
Darryl had many careers over the years from being a fireman for the D'Iberville Fire Dept, driving a limo for Luxury Limousine, to delivering propane to customers for Blossman. With each career, he built great friendships within the workplace because of his friendly and easy easy-going personality. His Blossman family supported him and his family the entire time he was sick.
During his daughters' childhoods, he spent his free time coaching them in softball. He was the type of dad that would discipline his girls but also sit them down and have honest, heart to heart talks with them. His most cherished times were spent with his wife, his daughters and his grandchildren.
Darryl was loved by everyone who ever got the chance to meet him. He will be greatly missed by not only his family, but all the friends he had made during his lifetime.
We welcome anyone who would like to come and pay their respects to Darryl and his family during this difficult time.
