Darryl Lobo Obituary
Darryl was born on May 24, 1955 in Karachi, Pakistan where he was raised until he moved to the United States at age 18. He lived in Daytona Beach and attended Embry Riddle University where he met the love of his life, Conny whom he married after only 6 months. He was left widowed in 2018 when she passed of cancer.
He lived a life marked by strength, deep passions, and steadfast loyalty. He spent much of his professional career at Northrop Grumman, where he was respected for his dedication and hard work before retiring in May 2016 after 33 years of service.
A true sports fan, Darryl had a lifelong love for both the Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles, an uncommon duo that he supported with pride. He was also an avid golfer and tennis player, always happiest on the course or court, enjoying the game and the friendships that came with it.
Darryl is survived by his beloved brother Desmond Lobo; his son Shane Lobo and daughter-in-law Brittany; his daughter Devin Schneider and son-in-law Joey; and his cherished grandchildren Zoe, Dakota, Cameran, and Carter as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather, and his family was the heart of his world. He was preceded In death by his parents, Eugene and Francis Lobo, his wife Conny Lobo and his sister Heather Rafi.
Those who knew Darryl will remember his warm presence, quick wit, and the quiet, genuine care he offered to those around him. He brought joy and steadiness into every space he entered, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Visitation and Prayers will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 5-7pm at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway St. Augustine, FL 32084, Prayers to begin at 5pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 11am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 5205 A1A South St. Augustine, FL 32080.
