Darryl Spell Obituary
BASILE~ It is with a heavy heart that the family of Darryl J. Spell announces his unexpected passing on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home at the age of 57.
Darryl, known as “Dog” to all who knew and loved him, was born on August 20 1965, to Bobby L and Ruth R. Spell in Morgan City, LA. His pastime was fishing and doing mechanic work. He will be missed by all, especially his parents, Bobby L. and Ruth R. Spell of Basile; his children, Nicole Spell of Cleveland, OH, Kelly Fontenot of Mamou, Sasha Fontenot of Waco, TX, and April Godeaux of Basile; brothers, Joseph K. Spell and wife, Rachel A., Roger L. Spell and wife, Thelma, all of Basile; sister, Rebecca M. Vidrine of Basile; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert P. Spell.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
