A visitation will be held for Darwin Carl "Crazy Horse" Brunson on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Crosier Pearson Funeral Home located at 512 North Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas. A Celebration of life will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Derden Cemetery in Covington, Texas.
Darwin Carl Brunson, born December 21, 1942, in Morgan, Texas as the third child of Dave and Ora Brunson. He is preceded in death by parents, sister Oranell Hancock, brothers David and Melvin Brunson. He is survived by his siblings Molly Hestilow and Gary Brunson of Cleburne; children, Carla Applegate of Itasca, Kathy G. Brunson of Grand Prairie, Dan Brunson of Borger, Faith Renick of Cleburne and Jessica Hartshorn of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kalea Almond of Ennis, Jason and Tyler Brunson of Borger, Ethan Brunson of Killeen, Amelia and Greyson Hartshorn of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Khade and Knox Almond of Ennis.
Hardest working man, started working at a very young age cutting trees for fence post, onto building highways, then moved onto train, automobiles, and ultimately tractors and dozier. Always ready to share a story and an opinion.
