Russell Wayne Newman, born on September 2, 1962, in Breckinridge, Texas, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on August 24, 2025. He was a beloved figure to many and will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A devoted family man, Russell found immense joy in spending quality time with his wife of 41 years, Melissa. He loved his son Josh and thought of Britni as a daughter. He loved going to train shows and museums, fishing and binge-watching TV shows with his grandson, Tommy. Their fishing trips were more than just outings; they were opportunities for bonding, laughter, and the creation of treasured memories.

Beyond his cherished moments with family, Russell enjoyed building things from scratch in his barn and enjoyed his animals. Russell poured his heart into everything he did.

He loved his current job at Palomar Modular Buildings where he worked since 2018. Prior, he dedicated 21 years to Johns Manville.

Russell is survived by his wife, Melissa Newman; son, Joshua Newman and his wife Britni; grandson, Tommy Newman; sisters, Leta Doyle and Rita Sleper and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Russell's life was a testament to hard work, love, and the simple pleasures that make life worthwhile. His warm spirit and loving nature will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. As we remember Russell Wayne Newman, let us carry forward his legacy of love and kindness, honoring him by cherishing the moments spent with our loved ones.
