Doug Davis, born on August 11, 1954, in Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was a passionate gardener and cook. Doug had an innate ability to nurture not only plants but also the relationships in his life. He enjoyed sharing his culinary talents, bringing people together through meals filled with love and laughter. Doug's idyllic moments were often spent at his beach home in Galveston, where he found joy in the simplicity of the life. Doug was known for his kindness and generosity, offering a helping hand to those in need and making space for others in his heart. His best advice to living joyfully was simple yet profound: “enjoy every moment.”
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Ruel and Betty Davis.
He is survived by his devoted husband of 11 years, Luciano Woycick; his sister, Kaye Collier, and her husband Lonnie; his nieces, Crystal and Myra; dear friends, Janice Young, Jose Wolf, and Graham Askew, and a host of cousins, friends, wonderful neighbors, and church family.
Doug Davis will be remembered forever for his warmth, his unwavering spirit of generosity, and his loving embrace that touched so many lives.
