Darwin Easter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Musgrove Family Mortuary & West Lawn Memorial Park on Apr. 11, 2024.
Darwin was born June 5th, 1965 to Carl and Marcella Easter in Grand Junction, CO. Baptized at age 15 on August 1, 1980 he found the lord as an anchor. His deep-rooted Faith and confidence in internal life guided him. He loved to talk about his trials and the mercies God had on him through them.
Darwin married Elisabeth Anne Griffith on October 24, 2009 in Henryetta, OK. As a couple they leaned on each other and made a very happy union. They were truly a match made in heaven. Darwin and Elisabeth moved to Snohomish, WA in 2010. Darwin lost his loving friend and cherished companion in January of 2017. Although it was not easy and he missed her greatly he continued on with a goal to join her again for eternity with the lord.
Darwin's first love was the lord, the possessions and things of this world didn't hold value with him. He worked many different labor jobs from the lumber industry in mills, to insulation, firewood, manufacturing and yard care to name a few. He didn't worry about how he was going to survive. He would tell everyone; God would see him through. He had confidence in the same.
Darwin moved to Creswell OR in 2018 and lived there until his passing with family by his side on Saturday April 6th, 2024.
Darwin was an example of Faith throughout his life. He will be missed by family, brethren and friends for years to come.
Darwin was preceded in death by his wife Elisabeth Easter, his parents Carl Easter, Marcella Easter and Joyce Easter, his sisters Charlotte Easter and Ethel Easter, his grandparents Joseph and Rosa Easter, Clement and Betty Atkinson, and Dale and Sylvia Lewis, and treasured aunts and uncles as well as brethren that guided him in life. He is survived by his sisters Janet Easter of Twin Falls, Idaho and Sylvia Easter of Creswell, Oregon, his Brother Edwin Easter and wife Liz of Creswell, Oregon, his Nephews Ethan Byers and wife Hailey of Twin Falls, Idaho, Tucker Easter of Brewster, Washington and Lionel Easter of Creswell, Oregon, His niece Tegan McGaughy and husband Jesse of Sperry, Oklahoma, his great nephews and nieces Kayden Byers, Aubrey Byers, Madilynn Byers and Phoenix Hedges of Twin Falls, Idaho and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, friends and brethren.
