Daryl W. Burdick Jr.

Daryl W. Burdick, Jr., age 70, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Daryl was born on March 16, 1955, in Tomahawk, WI, to the late Daryl W. and Yvonne (Bogie) Burdick, Sr.
Daryl graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1973. Following high school, he entered the workforce as a carpenter with TriState Homes in Mercer, WI. Known as a true jack of all trades, Daryl possessed a wide range of skills that included driving semi for Harvey Arnott, a job he enjoyed. Music was a significant part of Daryl's life. A talented musician, he played bass guitar for the rock band Storm for many years and also performed with several other bands. In his free time, Daryl enjoyed coin collecting and riding his Harley.
Survivors include his significant other, Barb Wild; his son, Daryl Burdick, III; his brother, Dennis (Sara) Burdick; his sisters, Debbie (Doug) Plachetka, and DaNell (Steve) Christian. Daryl is further survived by his granddaughters, Baylee and Lilly, in addition to several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daryl and Yvonne; his son, David Burdick; and his brothers, Darren and Dale.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Castaways Bar & Grill beginning at 2:00 PM. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
