Daryl L Dann

Daryl L Dann passed away on January 4th 2026 at home in Ocala FL at the age of 78 after fighting a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Daryl was born on April 19, 1947 in Owosso MI to Robert E and Bertha T (Skodak) Dann.

He resided in Ocala Fl with his wife Debra (Dickerman) Dann for over 20 years after relocating from Kansas City, MO where they spent 14 years. Daryl and his wife Debra celebrated 45 years of marriage in April.

Daryl's early career started at the family business with Evergreen Dairy, which included dairy, groceries and a meat market, where he loved to make the cottage cheese.
He graduated from Owosso High School in 1965 and attended Radio Electronics Television School, Flint Junior College and Western Michigan University and received several degrees.

After graduation Daryl went on to work for Midland-Ross Corporation in Owosso. He spent over 35 years with Midland-Ross working through several buyouts to Echlin and later to Haldex.

Daryl served honorably in the Army and did a tour in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971 •

Daryl enjoyed building electronic devices, golfing, bowling and enjoyed many wonderful years singing in the Owosso band "Middle of the Road".

Surviving Daryl are his wife Debra, daughters Kristine Dann (Jim Morearty) of Houghton Lake, Ml and Jennifer Dann (Richard Browning) of Deltona, FL and son Erik Dann of Houghton Lake, MI. Granddaughter Rebecka (Tyler) Beger of Prudenville, MI, Lacey Morearty and daughter Kamilia of Grayling, MI, and Miranda (Mike) McCrackin and daughter Adelynn from Oxford, MI, and grandson Erik Dann Il of Houghton Lake, MI. Surviving sisters Janice (Frank) Kolarik of Owosso, MI, Roberta (Frank) Spadafora of Dewey, AZ and James Dann of Swartz Creek, MI. Sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Daryl is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Joanne Dann.

Daryl will be buried in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
