Funeral services for infant Daughtry Lane McComic will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Beech Grove Congregational Church with Reverend Brent Noble officiating. The burial will follow in Burr Ferry Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Noah Baugh and Blaine McComic. Daughtry was born sleeping on July 15, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was the much-loved and anticipated son of Blake Shelton McComic and Zoee Bell Baugh of Fisher, LA. He is also survived by his grandparents, Amber and Billy Baugh of Florien, LA and Glenda McComic of Many, LA; great-grandparents, Liz and Jed Kersey of Kurthwood, LA; great-great grandmother, Pearl Self and husband George of Burr Ferry, LA; uncles, Blaine McComic and wife Kaia of Zwolle, LA and Noah Baugh of Florien, LA; aunts, Rivers Baugh and husband Timothy of Burr Ferry, LA, and Baylee Sproles and husband Curtis of La Porte, TX; and a host of great-uncles, great-aunts, and cousins. Daughtry was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Glen Jordan; great-grandmother, Shanda Malmay; great-great-grandfather, Pascal Lynn; aunt, Morgan Sproles; and cousin, Courtney Conley.
