Davan Leland Holt

Mr. Davan Leland Holt, Sr., age 74 was born in Alamance County, NC on August 29, 1950 and was a lifelong residence of Mebane, NC. He was the son of Ms. Mamie Ruth Holt Crisp and Mr. Douglas Richmond. He was educated in the Alamance County School System and worked for over twenty years at Cone Mills. Davan attended Mount Calvary Church, he loved his family and friends and would show it with his visits and phone calls. He enjoyed the simple things in life like, watching football, wrestling and boxing matches, cars, singing R & B, eating good seafood and growing his own tomatoes.
His life and legacy will be cherished by his three children, Jazzmine Cherrier (Taylor), Dustin Holt (Wendy) and Davan Holt, Jr. (Regina) and stepson, Ricky Brooks (Jessica); four sisters, Sullier "Shirley" C. Hinton, Marguerite "Margo" Johnson (Stephen), M. Darlene Walker (Maurice) and Margaret "Molly" Tinnin; two brothers, James Crisp and Gregory Crisp four grandchildren, LaQuan Holt, Dondre Dewer, Kamryn Cherrier and Azarion Richmond and one great grandchild, Tahj Dewer along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
