Dave Thomas Spang – Mo'ohmo'ohtavaestse "Black Elk", was named after his grandfather Daniel Fisher of Lawrence Kansas. Dave entered into this world on January 12th, 1990 to David Archambeau- Small and Julianne Spang in Crow Agency, MT, just one day after his uncle Wilmer Jr's birthday. He started his journey across the Milky Way to the other camp on November 23rd, 2024, just one day after his papa Wilmer Sr's birthday.
"Baby Dave" as he was known to most, was raised in Lame Deer, MT by his grandparent's the late Wilmer Sr. & Erma Spang along with the help of his aunt and uncle Michelle and Kermit Spang. He was a very gifted artist in many aspects including drawing, beading, writing, doing his sister/friends nails as well as his own, tattoos, piercings, and dying/perming hair. Dave loved to cruise no matter where the destination led to, he became a traveling partner to many friends and family, he was the definition of ride or die. He loved playing machines and especially BINGO, he is probably already buying-in with his grandma Erma to win that big jackpot. His most favorite hobby was to hang out or "chill" in his sisters/friends company and just listen to music and visit/laugh around.
Dave attended numerous schools throughout his K-12th grade years including Colstrip Public School, St. Labre Catholic School, and Lame Deer High School. Later on receiving his GED and enrolling in online classes and started his college career.
