Kay was born September 25, 1942, in Lawrence, Kansas. She married Alvin Muckenthaler on September 2, 1961, in Big Springs, KS. She was a practicing nurse until 1964, when she began raising her family. Her greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Kay is survived by her husband, Alvin, and daughter Laura Harris of the home; her son Stephen, who lives in Kansas City; her grandchildren: Becky Muckenthaler of Great Bend, Amy (Tim) Doane of Shawnee, Daryl Kelley of Kansas City, and Matt (Brittany) Kelley of Kansas City; her great-grandchildren: Cameron Greer, Kade and Nolan Doane, Lawrence, Damon and Dara Kelley, Benjamin and Gabriel Kelley; one brother, Keith (Carol) Noe of Lecompton, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Cremation Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Archangel Parish, 4737 N Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Margaret Noe, and her son-in-law, Kelly Harris.
