Linda "Winnie" Ann Bryan

November 10, 1945 - November 7, 2025

Linda "Winnie" Ann Bryan, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 7, 2025 at The University of Kansas Hospital. Winnie was born on November 10, 1945 in California, Missouri to Alfred and Nadyne Lloyd. She was a proud resident of Miromar Lakes, Florida and Kansas City. Winnie was a 1963 graduate of Smithton High School. She continued her education at the University of Central Missouri. After six months of dating Terry Bryan, she married him by eloping in Miami, Oklahoma on April 2, 1970.

Winnie worked in the legal industry in Kansas City before she became a mother and stay-at-home mom. Winnie was very outgoing and loved going on adventures. Her family, friends, travel and tennis were a few of her biggest passions. Additionally, she was an avid Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks fan. Winnie and her family would make an annual trip to Ft. Myers, Florida for the Royals' spring training. Winnie, Terry and the kids would stay on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and made the most amazing memories. The fun was so deeply ingrained that they purchased a home on Sanibel. It was by far one of Winnie's top happy places!

Winnie always had the ability to make anyone smile, laugh and feel loved. She enjoyed volunteering in the communities she called home. We will miss her colorful spirit, zest for life, delicious cookies, hilarious sense of humor and her heartfelt hugs.

She is survived by her husband Terry; her daughter Angie Tucker (Matt) of Leawood, Kansas; her son Todd of Shawnee, Kansas; her beautiful grandchildren: Max, Molly, Grace and Lily Tucker & Presley Bryan; sister Sue Bet Beck (Ed), brothers John Lloyd and David Lloyd, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Per Winnie's request, we will be hosting a party to honor her wonderful life. Details will be announced in the spring of 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The University of Kansas Health System:
