Linda Sue Lujan, 61, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Linda was born on May 28, 1964, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Larry and Maxine Girardin. She moved with her family to Raytown in 1968, where she graduated from Raytown South High School in 1982. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg in 1986.

As a child, Linda was an active and accomplished Girl Scout. She was featured in the 1976 National Girl Scouts calendar for the month of September and went on to earn the organization's highest honor, the First Class Award - now known as the Gold Award - a testament to her determination, leadership, and kindness.

Linda began her career at the Kentucky Fried Chicken administrative offices, where she worked from 1980 to 1999 in a variety of roles, including customer service representative, district secretary, division development cost specialist, and administrative assistant. She later continued her professional journey as an administrative assistant and accountant, specializing in accounts receivable and payable.

In 1987, Linda married Keith Lujan, and together they raised two sons, Kevin and David. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. She was endlessly supportive - always encouraging her sons to pursue their own paths and selflessly devoting her time and energy to help them thrive, including traveling the country for David's BMX racing.

Linda was a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan who proudly cheered for her team through every season. She loved Christmas and the chance to fill her home with warmth and her famous holiday dishes and baked treats. She had a deep love for animals and cared for many beloved cats and dogs throughout her life, each one a cherished member of the family.

Linda is survived by her sons, Kevin and David Lujan; her mother, Maxine Rasmus; and her sisters, Mary Ann McCormick (Bill) and Michelle Girardin. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Girardin.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5pm-7pm at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri 64133. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org).

Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
