David Abdallah Obituary
He was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1964, as well as the University of Akron. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He retired from The Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and was also a licensed real estate broker and certified residential appraiser. David was an avid golfer and dedicated fan of the Guardians, Cavs, Browns (sometimes) and Buckeyes. He was a long-time member of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, serving as both a deacon and elder.
Surviving David are his wife of 55 years, Judy, daughter, Amy Abdallah-Vandiver and husband John and son, Dave Abdallah, wife Kim and their sons, Alex and Jason.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, 275 S. Firestone Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44301. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
If so desired, donations may be made in David's name to the Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, 275 South Firestone Boulevard, Akron, OH 44301.

I graduated with David from Garfield High School Class of '64. I didn't know him well until the class started meeting at Farmer Boy restaurant for Brunch the last Tuesdays of the month. He was a huge presence. I didn't realize until I read his obituary, he was born on December 2, 1946 and I was born December 6, 1946. We will all miss him. Rest In Peace Dave.
