Born on April 6, 1979, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, David was a beacon of joy and music in the lives of those who knew him. His final days were spent surrounded by the love of his family in Plainfield, New Jersey.

David was the beloved son of Angel Abreu Sr. and Luz Abreu. His life was a testament to the strength and love of his family, including his devoted daughter, Caroline Rivera Abreu, and his son, David Rivera Abreu Jr., and two beautiful grandchildren , Cirenys and Jayxiel who will carry on his legacy of kindness. He was a loving brother to Cindy Bohr and her husband Ken, Angel Abreu Jr. and his wife Anita, and Miguel Ramos. David's numerous nieces and nephews will fondly remember his playful spirit and the special moments they shared.

David's educational journey culminated in the achievement of his GED, a milestone that highlighted his determination and commitment to personal growth. His passion for music was evident to all who knew him. David's love for melody and rhythm was not just a hobby, but a vital part of who he was. He found solace and joy in the harmonies of life, and he had a unique ability to share that joy with others.
