David Allen, Sr. Obituary
Four Oaks, NC: Mr. David Phil Allen, Sr., age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on from 5:00PM-7:00PM, on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the home of Casey and Holden Strickland, 1764 Lee’s Union Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
Mr. Allen was born on April 9, 1954 in Johnston County, NC to the late Delbert Lee and Louise Byrd Allen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ann Knox Allen, and his brothers, Daniel Allen and Sam Allen. Mr. Allen retired from Waste Management in Kenly, NC as an operations manager. He enjoyed farming, listening to country music, and was loved by his family, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, David Allen, Jr., and Patrick Allen and wife, Karla; daughter, Casey Strickland and husband, Holden; grandchildren, Mikayla, Rilee, Laysen, and Hensley; brothers, Delbert Allen, and Charles Allen, and a sister, Norma Blackmon; many nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers. Flowers are welcomed and can be delivered to 1764 Lee’s Union Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
