David Allison passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 28th, 1957, in Bermuda to Donald and Shirley Allison, David's adventurous spirit and kind heart took him on a journey that touched many lives.

From Warner Robbins Air Force base in Georgia to read field, Maine-where he grew up and attended Whinthrop high school-David made his mark as a standout athlete. He played football, was an avid gymnast, and competed on the basketball and ski teams. After graduating, he made his way to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, the place he would proudly call home for the rest of his life.

David was a builder in every sense of the word. Through his lifelong work in construction, he helped shape the very foundations of his community-building homes, businesses, and relationships along the way. Known for being a man who would do just about anything, he earned the name "Honey Do". Always ready to lend a hand or fix what needed fixing.

Sundays were sacred to David-spent in the kitchen or next to the grill cooking up something delicious, watching NASCAR, and relaxing with his favorite tunes. A master of the pool table, darts, and regular voice known to many as "el kabong" on his beloved radio station 99 Rock, David was well known for calling in during the 5 O'clock whistle-winning everything from cars to autographed guitars, and concert tickets to the countless Helen Back Pizza's.

To know David was to be his friend. He had a warmth and humor that drew people in, and a knack for making everyone feel at home.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie Mae (James Gooding) Allison, his cherished granddaughters; Lilith and Briella, and his sister; Linda (Dave) Batron of Mississippi.

David was welcomed into heaven by his loving parents, Don and Shirley Allison, his brother; Ding (Judy) Allison, and his sisters; Sandra Dunn & Patty Allison.

He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. A memorial service to be held will be announced on a later date.
