RENNSELAER FALLS- A celebration of life for David A. Arquitt, 57, of Rensselaer Falls will be held at a later date to be announced. Mr. Arquitt died on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at his home, following a long illness, surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
David A. Arquitt was born on November 25, 1966 in Lisbon, NY. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Nancy (Strader) Arquitt. He attended Lisbon Central School and earned his GED. He worked for a time in Colorado as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home. Later he would move back to the North Country and operate his own trucking company, Arquitt Trucking. He loved to take care of his lawn, ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, music and westerns. He also enjoyed fishing, but most of all he loved his family and especially the children in his life.
He is survived by his partner of 19 years, Lisa Girard, his daughter, Shannon Woznick of Colorado, Morgan LaRose of Canton, Katie Girard of Vermont and Haydn Girard of Ogdensburg. His grandchildren, Kali Ann Herdez, Mathew Woznick and Olivia LaRose also survive him along with his siblings; Randy and Jeff Arquitt of Rensselaer Falls, Andy Arquitt and his wife Missy of Rensselaer Falls and Ann Arquitt Geary of Canton, step-brothers; Matt and Dominick Arquitt of Pennsylvania and Ronnie, Michael and Lyle LaRose, whom he considered brothers. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Dylan Arquitt, his sister Rose Arquitt, brother, Lawrence Arquitt and his nephews Christopher and Jeffery, his niece Ashley and his great-nephews Landon and Christopher.
Donations in David's memory may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley 6805 US Route 11 Potsdam, NY 13676.

I remember I met my dad as an adult I went and spent the whole summer with him me and my dad's friend Brian drove all the way from Colorado so I can meet him as an adult we had so much fun together he taught me all kinds of farming stuff rode horses it was a good time I miss my dad but I know now he's with my brother and my aunts and uncles and he's not in pain
