David Carson Austin

David Carson Austin, born on October 25, 1977, in Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on February 24, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi. David was a beloved member of his community and a dedicated member of the maintenance team at Centennial Plaza in Gulfport. His hard work and commitment were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

He was a proud graduate of Biloxi High School and furthered his education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. 

David had a deep love for the outdoors, often spending his free time fishing by the lake or hunting in the woods. These activities were not just hobbies for him; they were passions that brought him joy and a sense of peace. He also enjoyed listening to talk radio, a pastime that kept him engaged with the world around him.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Carson Lee Austin and Charlotte Austin; his sister, Leigh Ann Beverin, and her husband Kenny, along with their daughters, Kenleigh Beverin and Laney Beverin. The family appreciates your love and support during this time of loss.

David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, C.W. Austin and Winnie Mae Austin; and his maternal grandparents, Lavell Hogan and Lottie Rogers Hogan.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Parkway Baptist Church, located at 17284 MS-67, Biloxi, MS 39532. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. 

A graveside service will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, located at 19361 28th St, Long Beach, MS 39560.
