Born on February 5, 1967, in Columbia, Tennessee, and raised in Santa Fe, TN, David was the son of R. Cecil and J. Marilyn Baker. When he was twelve, his dad's job moved his family to Ft. Madison, Iowa. After graduating from High School, he joined the United States Army and became a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was stationed at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, Ft. In 2014, He discovered Kingdom Builder's Academy, an on-line marketing company that specializes in the writing and publishing of books and teaches how to "monetize your message." He became a number one, best-selling author on Amazon and has written five books.
In June of 2015, He took what he had learned from the marketing company, and together with Dr. Bob Gray, they started Independent Baptist On-line College to help train people for the work of the ministry.
After writing the book "I'm Never Coming Back Here" in order to help the incarcerated, he became the senior chaplain at the Maury County Jail in 2016. (His son became the assistant chaplain in 2017, and later assumed the role of senior chaplain.)

anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will go to heaven regardless of any future actions - including future sin, unbelief, or apostasy - though Christians who sin or abandon the faith will face God's discipline.

Brother David Baker got me a job as a juvenile correctional officer and was my former pastor, he gave me advice and i remember helping work day at church and times at church picnic. I also served in the United States Army in 1988 82nd airbourne also and knew David as a army brother also. David inspired me to get into ministry and pursue my career in criminal justice. It is a tradegy what has happened and i wish Mrs. Laura and family condolenscenes in this time. Though i didnt always agree with David, I wouldnt wish what happened on my worst enemy. I hope and pray the family can recover from this tradegy

His compassion, kindness, and thoughtfulness. When my son Bradden died in Feb. of 2010, Bro. Baker and his wife drove 7 hours to attend my son´s funeral and drove back the same day. I live in Moultrie, GA. I met the Baker family through my ex husband, who went to church with them before we got married. When my son died, the Harnage family had already moved back to Moultrie. Bro. Baker came out of his kindness and love for us not out of obligation. None of us were members of the church anymore. The Baker´s being there for us in our darkest hour meant a lot and won´t be forgotten.
