David Wayne Bannister

David was born on November 6, 1953 and passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. David was a resident of North Vernon, Indiana at the time of passing. Mr. Bannister was a 1972 graduate of Jennings County High School and retired in 2016, but had worked at Harley Bag, farmed for Curt Burbrink, surveyed for Fewell Pettit and Bender, and custodian for Decatur Plastics. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Scipio. Visitation at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 7, 2019. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Scipio Fire House.
