David Lee Barbre, a cherished husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Born on January 8, 1962, David's life was a testament to the joy and beauty that can be found in the simple pleasures of life.

David's journey began as the beloved son of Robert Lee Barbre and Janet Sue Dean, who preceded him in death. Throughout his life, David's kind-hearted nature and infectious smile touched everyone he met. He found his soulmate in Darlene Barbre, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect that lasted over 30 years.

A man of many interests, David had a particular talent for gardening. His green thumb brought to life a vibrant tapestry of flowers and plants that became a sanctuary for both him and the wildlife he adored. His garden was a place of tranquility and beauty, reflecting the care and attention he devoted to every living thing.

David's love for the outdoors extended to fishing, a pastime he often shared with his brother, Tim Barbre. The bond between the brothers was unbreakable, and their fishing trips were filled with stories, camaraderie, and the occasional big catch. These moments by the water were among David's most cherished memories.

At home, David was a devoted pet parent to Diamond, Manwell, Kaylee, and Dakota. His gentle nature and loving care ensured that his furry companions lived lives full of affection and joy. They, too, will miss his presence deeply.

David's legacy is one of love, kindness, and the gentle imprint he left on the world. He approached life with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the small moments that make life rich and fulfilling. His laughter, warmth, and the wisdom he shared will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we say goodbye to David Lee Barbre, we celebrate the life of a man who was a beacon of light in the lives of many. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him to find joy in the everyday and to nurture the bonds of family and friendship that meant so much to him.

David's memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Darlene, his brother, Tim, and sister-in-law, Michelle, along with his adored pets and a community of friends who were blessed to know him. Though he has left this earthly garden, the seeds of love and kindness he planted will continue to grow and flourish in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, David, until we meet again in the gardens of eternity.

David's family would like to welcome everyone to a memorial service to be held on October 15, 2025, at 1pm in the Gazebo at Sunset Funeral Home, Cremation Center and Cemetery.
