David Barcz Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Barcz, 47, of Ladue, Missouri (formerly of Marion, Iowa) on February 3, 2025. David was a devoted father, son, brother, friend, and colleague with a warmth, sense of humor, and generosity of spirit that touched everyone he met, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. David was known for his quick wit, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering kindness. He approached life with an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. As a father, David was a constant source of love and guidance, offering support, wisdom, and encouragement to his daughters. Throughout his life, David made lasting impacts on the people and communities he was part of. He was the kind of person who not only spoke with kindness but lived it every day. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created. David is survived by his daughters Evelyn and Avery Barcz, his former wife and dear friend, Allison Barcz, father James Barcz, brothers Scott (Andrea) and Tim (Sarah) Barcz, and his nieces and nephew; Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Lincoln, Cora, Rylee, Ainsley, and Ada Barcz, who will forever carry his love and memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother Jan Barcz and aunt Kris Szudajski. A celebration of David's life was held on February 8th at "Five Oaks on Warson" in Olivette, Missouri. The family has established a memorial fund for the benefit of David's daughters at https://gofund.me/694662c2. David's love and light will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
