David Loren Bartholomew

David was born on July 2, 1955 and passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015. David was a resident of Arthur, Illinois at the time of his passing. David graduated from Arthur High School Class of 1973. He then attended Eastern Illinois University graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 1977. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University in the School of Law graduated in 1980. He was married to Gemma. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday Dec. 10 2015 at the Arthur United Methodist Church 128 E. Illinois Street with Rev. Bruce Weiman officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Washington Street Cemetery in Casey. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday at Shrader Funeral Home 431 S. Vine Street Arthur. Masonic Rites will be conducted following the visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Childrenâs Shriners Hospital St. Louis Arthur United Methodist Church; or the Arthur Masonic Lodge.
