David Lee Bates of Hardy, Arkansas passed from this life on May 24, 2025, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. David was born August 8, 1983, in Rockford, Illinois to Daniel Lee Bates and Angela Marie Nolan.
David worked in construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
David leaves to mourn his passing son, Jesse Bates of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Haylie Bates of Salem, Arkansas; father, Daniel Lee Bates of Hardy, Arkansas; many other family members and friends. David is preceded in death by his mother (Angela Nolan), grandparents (Franklin and Doratha Bates), and aunt (Yvonne Lee Saeger).
Memorial visitation services will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Monday June 16, 2025, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Pastor Stephen Downs officiating. Honorary pallbearers are BJ McKinney and Shawn Thompson. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
