David Bichsel Obituary
David Fred Bichsel, age 77, of North Canton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, June 16th, 2024. He was born August 19th, 1946 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Norman and Annabelle (Steves) Bichsel and was the 9th of 19 children. He was a proud Vietnam veteran who received commendations for his determination and bravery during battle. He retired from Clean Harbors after over 30 years of service. He was a jack of all trades who never encountered a repair he couldn't solve and put his skills to use at the Stark County fairgrounds as grounds keeper after retirement. When he wasn't hard at work, he could be found caring for his family and backyard animals, and supporting the Cleveland Browns. He was rarely seen without Brown's attire on. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Kulp) Bichsel of 52 years of marriage, his children Helena (George) Film, Michele (Bill) Page, and Michael (Heather) Bichsel, his grandchildren Dakotah, Adam, Erin, Hannah, Samantha, Sydney, Andrew, Grace, and Danya and his great grandchildren Storm, Adley, Josephine, and Martha. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 20th, 4:30pm to 6:30pm with the service and military honors to follow at Rossi Family Funeral Home. Those planning to attend are asked to honor Dave's legacy by wearing your favorite patriotic or Cleveland Browns attire. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
