Mrs. Biggs- I am sorry about Mr. Biggs. I always enjoyed his art class, even if my day was not going so well he made sure I smiled. Please know that I am thinking about you and your family. Sincerely, Ginger

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Biggs' passing. He was one of my favorite teachers, and helped to guide me into the profession through his example. I will never forget the warm, relaxed environment he created in his classroom- a place for his students to escape to in the midst of the chaos that was high school. I will never forget his wit,his candor, or his enthusiam for the craft. The world is a poorer place without him.

Martha, We are heartbroken to hear about Mike's passing. We were blessed to have both of you as neighbors! I will never forget the day that Drew accidentally threw his whistle up in the tree and you helped him get it down and when you did Mike said, ""Martha Lou, why in the world did you do that?"" Devon still remembers ""Mr. Mike"" reading to him when you both watched them when Mark was in the hospital. Our thought, prayers, and love go out to you and Christopher. Virtual Hugs, Carolyn

It's hard to believe a man so full of life is gone. Mr. Biggs was a wonderful teacher who inspired all that had the opportunity to work under his care. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. May God's blessings pour over his family in the days to come.

My heart goes out to Mike's family. I have so enjoyed every opportunity presented to me over the past 13 years of working with the Daniel High School Art Program, and always knew my visits with Mike would leave me pleased with the wonderful work he got from his students, and smiling because, well, Mike always gave me something to smile about. I conseder myself a better person for having known him. Bless you all. Allen Coleman Pickens County Museum

My condolences to the Biggs family. I am so sad to hear about Mr. Bigg's passing. He was a wonderful man and such an inspirational teacher. I looked forward to his class everyday - I think more than anything I looked forward to his wit and life lessons. He had such an impact on my life and will never be forgotten.

I never had Mr Biggs as a teacher but that doesn't mean that he didn't still touch lives of those he only saw in passing. Whether it was a joke or a sarcastic remark, he could always pull a smile out of anyone. The family will be in our prayers. I know it will be hard to celebrate the holiday season but we all know that he is better off and pain free now and has a smile and a joke waiting for us in Heaven.

Mr. Biggs' class was one of my favorites. His cultivation of his students creativity was second only to his sense of humor. I'd like to pass along my condolences to his family as I'm sure his effect on his students was minute compared to that he had on his family. I will always have fond memories of my experiences in high school and he's a part of them.

I was so sad to hear about Mr. Biggs. He was one of my favorite teachers. He treated all of us like we had a brain even if it was questionable at times. I just wanted to send my condolences to Mrs. Biggs. I know I don't have to tell her what a great man her husband was. I will always remember his class with a smile. Mr. Biggs was always real with us and that's why it was easy to work hard for him.

Wow, I just learned the news... I hate to see such a great and passionate person pass on. He was absolutely the best, and he was my most favorite teacher throughout my school years. I'll never forget his quirky sense of humor, and constant plays on words. Mr. Biggs, you'll always be missed.
