David Bogan Obituary
October 4, 1952 – December 21, 2024
David (Dave) Bogan, 72, passed away on December21, 2024, at his home in Lynnville with his family by his side. Dave was born October 4, 1952, in Evansville, IN to the late William (Bill) and Betty Bogan.
Dave was the Construction Manager at Shoe Carnival for 25 years. His love for bonsai lasted for nearly 40 years. He gave many lectures on bonsai and had over 150 bonsai in his personal collection and was respected as an expert in the field.
Dave served on the board of the U. S. National Arboretum in Washington D.C. and the American Bonsai Society.
He is survived by wife Barbara, his son Brandon (Ashley), and 2 grandchildren, Alexis and Emma. Dave was a loving husband, father and grandfather and friend to many.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the Lynnville Cemetery for family members.
