David Boggs Obituary
Mr. Boggs was born in Lexington, KY, the son of Lena Boggs and George Boggs. He served briefly in the U. S. Army and had been employed in construction, the Star-Mercury and retired as a clerk with Gilson's Minit Market in Manchester, GA. He was a member of the Raleigh Methodist Church in the Raleigh Community.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lena Boggs, grandfather Homer Boggs and grandmother Arthie Boggs, uncles Gus, Wayne, Glenn and Bob Boggs. He is survived by his wife Ella Boggs of Manchester, GA, stepdaughter Marie Boggs Glass of Oklahoma, sister-in-law Bonnie Kilgore of Texas special friends Danny and Diane Atkinson of Warm Springs along with his Raleigh Methodist Church family.
Memorial services for Mr. Boggs will be held at a later date at the Raleigh Methodist Church.
Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, GA will be in charge of the arrangements. Please sign the online registry and leave condolences for the family on the tribute wall page.
