David John Bonow, 66, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully at Lowcountry Hospice House on January 20, 2025. David was born on February 19, 1959, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to David Carl Bonow and Sharon Bonow (Trickle). He was preceded in death by his father, David Carl Bonow. Surviving are his mother, Sharon Bonow Vincent, and his stepfather, Frank Vincent, of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Douglas Bonow (Mary) of Spicewood, Texas, and Keith Bonow (Melanie) of James Island, SC; two sisters, Danita Bonow Brown (Joe) of Goose Creek, SC, and Dawn Bonow of Goose Creek, SC, as well as loving nieces and nephews. David was a graduate of Goose Creek High School and attended Bell and Howell School for electrical training. David enjoyed working with his hands by working on cars and doing carpentry work. These hobbies allowed him to help family and friends when they needed help. He was always willing to lend a hand. He loved boiling peanuts, having a few beers with his brothers, and eating crab legs with his sisters. He was a fun, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be in our hearts forever. Please join the family for a memorial service on February 1, 2025, at 2:00 at Grace Chapel, 3231 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
