David Michael Booth, 67, of Newcomerstown, passed away on April 22, 2025, at Akron General Hospital in Akron. He was born January 28, 1958 in Dover, to the late Bernard Booth and Linda (Smith) Booth of Newcomerstown.
Dave was a 1976 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. He went on to attend The Ohio State University for two years, and then went on to receive his bachelor's degree from the National College of Chiropractic as well as his Doctorate Cum Laude in May of 1982. He continued his education in specialized modalities in Orthopedic Chiropractics. He was a Chiropractor for thirty-nine and a half years at D.M. Booth D.C. in Newcomerstown. Dave was an avid outdoorsman that liked to trap shoot with his uncle and cousins. He enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren and spending time with his family, attending their sporting events and horse shows. He had a professional membership at the American Chiropractic Association, Ohio State Chiropractic Association, and was a Member of the ACA Council on Diagnostic Imaging. Dave was a member at Christ Methodist Church, Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce, Newcomerstown Community Improvement Corp., Amateur Trapshooting Association, Newcomerstown Elks Lodge #1555, and the National Rifleman's Association. He married his wife and best friend, Lisa K. (Etter) Booth on August 18, 1979, who survives.
In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by his children, Lindsay K. (Richard) Limperos of Medina and Derek M. (Andrea) Booth of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Isabella and Olivia Limperos, Aubree, Ainslee, and Derringer Booth; sister, Brenda (Richard) Casteel of Newcomerstown; brothers-in-law, Brian (Jody) Etter and Scott (Lori) Etter; mother-in-law, Sandra Etter; uncle, Duane Smith, nieces and nephews, Kristen Casteel, Vivian Etter, and Adam(Samantha) Etter; great-nieces, Sophia and Brooklyn; cousins, Richard and Ron Smith and families.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Earl and Forrest Booth and Virginia and Forest Smith, his father-in-law, Earl Etter, and his aunt, Alice Lee Smith.
Funeral services for Dave will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Addy Funeral Home with Gary George officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 to 1, prior to the service.
